What's My Rising Sign?

The mask, the first impression, the face that greets the world.

Your rising sign — or Ascendant — is the zodiac sign that was climbing over the eastern horizon at the exact moment you were born. It shapes how others perceive you before they know you, how you instinctively move through the world, and the lens through which your whole chart is filtered. Unlike your Sun sign, it changes every two hours, which is why birth time matters.

Birth time accuracy matters — the Ascendant shifts approximately every two hours. Nothing is stored or transmitted. All calculations happen in your browser.
