Daily Ephemeris is a static informational website. We do not operate user accounts, collect personal data for marketing, or sell any information to third parties. This policy describes the limited data that may be collected as a result of visiting the site.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personally identifiable information directly. However, like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically collect standard server log data including:
- IP addresses (anonymised where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Referring URL
- Pages visited and time of visit
This data is used solely to understand aggregate traffic patterns and maintain the security and performance of the site.
Cookies
Daily Ephemeris does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Any cookies set by the hosting platform (Cloudflare Pages) are strictly functional and necessary for site delivery.
Third-Party Services
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's own privacy policy governs data processed at the network level. We do not embed third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.comand fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests these font files, Google may receive your IP address and browser information as part of the HTTP request. Google Fonts is used solely for typographic display; no tracking or profiling is performed by Daily Ephemeris in connection with these requests. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for details on how Google processes font-service requests.
Some astrology tools include optional city search powered by OpenStreetMap Nominatim. If you use city search, the city name you enter is sent to Nominatim so coordinates can be returned. If you enter coordinates manually, that lookup is not used.
The transit tracker can save birth-chart details in your browser's local storage so you do not need to re-enter them. This data remains on your device unless you clear it in the tool or clear your browser storage.
Contact form messages are submitted through FormSubmit. Your name, email address, subject, and message are sent to FormSubmit for delivery to the site inbox.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
